You can like him, or not. But when KRS said, "rap is something you do, hip-hop is something you live", I think he was totally, absolutely right. You can be the perfect rapper, with the best lyrics, and the best productions, but that doesn't make you hip-hop. Hip-hop is something wider, more spiritual, more phisosophical. It's something that embraces a lot of things. It's a whole culture, a way of life. A way of feeling, a way of living.
